Brian Wiltshire is a 2014 McGeorge alum from Reno, Nevada. When Brian graduated, he moved back to Reno and became one of the first judicial law clerks for the newly-created Nevada Court of Appeals. After completing his clerkship, he decided to embark on a path that would allow him to combine the knowledge and skills he obtained while earning his M.B.A. at the University of Nevada, with the knowledge and skills he obtained through his legal training at McGeorge, and he took over the management of his wife's dental practice.

During law school, Brian discovered that he enjoyed public speaking and oral advocacy. As a second-year student, he advanced to the final round of the Global Lawyering Skills II Final Four Competition and served as a Research Assistant in the Moot Court Program. As a third-year student, he went on to serve as the Executive Chair of the Moot Court Honors Board and to participate in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Looking back on those experiences, Brian says he learned that the point of law school is that you will be humbled every day, and his advice to current students is to enjoy that aspect of the learning process.
