Andrea Sogand Moon is a deputy district attorney with the Amador County District Attorney’s Office. Andrea previously practiced as an attorney with the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation's Class Action Team at the Office of Legal Affairs in Sacramento, where she received the OLA Above & Beyond Award for her service to the Office of Legal Affairs and the Department.

Andrea is currently an attorney member of the Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court and an alumni coach for the Moot Court team.

While at McGeorge, Andrea was elected to the SBA for four years and acted as President of the Animal Law Society and Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. Andrea is an alum of the Federal Defender Clinic, Moot Court competition team and the Kennedy Inn.

Andrea holds a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Eta Chapter. Andrea received her JD from McGeorge with distinction and was the recipient of the Outstanding Student Achievement Award and the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award.
