McGeorge School of Law hosted more than 375 Sacramento-area junior high, high school, and elementary school students on campus at two "Discover Law Day" events on Feb. 10 and March 17, 2017.

The free program primarily focused on historically underrepresented groups and first-generation college aspirants. The McGeorge Office of Admissions and Diversity Initiatives and the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) co-sponsored the program. For the first time the McGeorge program hosted students in grades 3, 4 and 5 with the inclusion of Capitol Collegiate Academy. Two Sacramento City Community College students also participated in the program.
