University of the Pacific Accepting Applications for Law School Dean Position

August 15, 2016

University of the Pacific is accepting applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the McGeorge School of Law. Pacific seeks an exceptional leader to become its tenth Law School dean, replacing Dean Francis J. Mootz III who is stepping down after five years of exemplary service. The successful candidate will be a creative, dynamic and visionary leader who can continue the law school's upward trajectory — someone who will build on the accomplishments of the past and help the school move to a new level of excellence.

A search committee, chaired by Dr. Phil Oppenheimer, Dean of the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and co-chaired by Julie Davies, Professor of Law, is working closely with the search firm on this process.
