Leslie Gielow Jacobs wrote an op-ed, "Scalia's impact felt far beyond his written opinions," that appeared in the Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 print edition of The Sacramento Bee. A pdf version of the op-ed is here.
Professor Jacobs directs the McGeorge Capital Center for Law and Policy. She served as a clerk to Justice Lewis F. Powell Jr. during Justice Scalia's first year at the Supreme Court.
On Feb. 18 Capital Public Radio's Insight program featured an interview with Professor Jacobs about the current high profile Supreme Court cases, such as the outcome of the California teachers' union dues case Friedrichs vs the California Teachers Association.
