Professors Omar Dajani and Jarrod Wong were appointed to serve as co-directors of McGeorge's Global Center for Business & Development on May 15, 2014.
Dajani and Wong will build upon the success of the Global Center's previous co-directors,
Distinguished Professors Frank Gevurtz and Linda Carter. Carter and Gevurtz worked
hard to consolidate McGeorge's reputation as a leader in the field, as reflected in
the law school's consistent ranking in the nation's top international law programs
by U.S. News & World Report, including being 15th in in the 2015 Best Graduate Schools guide. Their initiatives include the inspired Global Issues book series created and edited by Gevurtz, the International Jurist lecture series,
groundbreaking workshops on intercultural legal competence, the expansion of internship
opportunities for students through the world, and symposia that have developed and
showcased the breadth and depth of McGeorge's engagement with global law. Dajani and
Wong look forward to continuing this tradition of excellence.
