Victims of Crime Resource Center event

Speakers represented the California District Attorneys Office, the Attorney General’s Office, Disability Rights California and NorCal’s DeafSAFE.

As a part of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, the Victims of Crime Resource Center hosted "Domestic Violence and Victims with Disabilities" at McGeorge on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.

The event featured speakers from the California District Attorneys Office, the Attorney General’s Office, Disability Rights California and NorCal’s DeafSAFE.

Topics ranged from the difficulties investigating and prosecuting cases of domestic violence and victims with disabilities, as well as special issues with deaf survivors, outreach to underserved populations and Marsy’s Law.
