Look for details soon about the Student Leadership, Philanthropy and Volunteerism Program. As a graduating student, you will have the opportunity to give back to McGeorge. Enjoy one of the perks of participation — the opportunity to send a special message to family and friends within the official Commencement program.
Caps and gowns are provided to you by McGeorge at no cost. Please visit the Bookstore after Monday, May 6 to check out a cap and gown. The gowns will be laundered, but you are encouraged to have them pressed prior to Commencement.
Rehearsal will be in the Lecture Hall on Wednesday, May 15 at 4:30 p.m. and will be repeated on Thursday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. Rehearsals should last approximately 30 minutes. Please try to attend the rehearsal that is most convenient for you.
Diplomas will not be in the case you receive as you cross the stage during the ceremony. Immediately following the ceremony (after you have taken any personal pictures with family and friends), you will return to the assembly area. After returning your cap, gown, and hood, you may pick up your diploma from the Registrar and staff who will be stationed in the assembly area. Complimentary degrees will be included with your diploma.
Immediately following commencement, an open-house reception will be held on the campus in your honor. You and your guests are cordially invited to attend the wine and hors d'oeuvres reception. The campus will be open for touring.
