Global Center Launches London Program

February 8, 2007

McGeorge’s Center for Global Business and Development will co-sponsor a new summer program in London this year.

The London Summer Program on European Legal Studies offers international and comparative law courses focused upon European commercial law in a transnational context. It is a three-week program offered during the first three full weeks of June at Queen Mary University of London. The program is open to all students and graduates of ABA-approved or state-accredited law schools and fully-accredited foreign law schools. Internationally prominent Queen Mary University is one of only eight United Kingdom law schools that was awarded a five-star grading for research of international excellence in the British government’s last research assessment exercise. QMUL is one of the largest multi-faculty colleges of the University of London. A campus-based university it is just fifteen minutes from central London. It has more than 10,000 UK, European and international students studying in four faculties, in addition to medical colleges. McGeorge also sponsors a Summer Salzburg Program (July 7-July 28) and is a co-sponsor of another program in St. Petersburg, Russia (July 3-July 29).
