Current students, staff, and faculty of the University of the Pacific are eligible to request books owned by other member Libraries through the "Link+" feature in our online catalog, or PacificSearch.

Requesting an item through PacificSearch:

  1. After running a search in PacificCatalog (while on the catalog tab), click one of the two "Link+" buttons.
  2. Pick the item of interest and click the “Request It” button.
  3. Fill out the information form to request the item. Your library is the University of the Pacific and you must you name and ID # to log-in. Make sure to pick the library at which you want to pick up your book.

How long will it take?

Most books are delivered to the hold shelf within three to five business days of date requested.

How long will books be held for me?

Books will remain on the hold shelf for 10 days from the day that you receive your notice.

Can I check on the status of my request?

You can login to your Library account to check the status of your Link+ request.

How long is the loan period for Link+ books?

The loan period is 21 days with one renewal for an additional 21 days. Late fees will be accrued at $1 per day.
