Since 1987, the Dean's Council has developed into an invaluable resource for McGeorge. Dean Gordon D. Schaber created the Dean's Council to recognize alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends who support the law school at a leadership level.
The Dean's Council is a proud tradition that forms the cornerstone of our annual giving program. Donors at the Dean's Council level take satisfaction in knowing that their contributions, to the designation of your choice, have an immediate and direct impact on the students, faculty, and programs they support. Whether it is through funding a national trial competition, student scholarships, or providing resources to enhance our infrastructure — Dean's Council gifts embody the heart and soul of McGeorge and serve as a catalyst for future innovation and excellence.
Dean's Council recognition begins at $1,000 with special rates for students, recent alumni and those working in public service and non-profit.
1 Current McGeorge students may participate in Dean's Council with a gift of $25. McGeorge alumni from our most recent graduating class are recognized as members for $25; graduates of one year are recognized as members for $100; graduates of two to four years are recognized as members for $250; and graduates of five to nine years, judges, and those who work for the government or in public service (non-profit) are members at $500 annually.
Please join us as a Dean's Council-level donor this year and take pride in knowing that you are a leader and a partner in our continuing evolution as a world-class center for legal education. As a Dean's Council-level donor, you will receive special communications, recognition on the campus walls of honor and in law school publications, and event invitations to network with other Dean's Council members, faculty and distinguished guests.
Our Dean's Council members are our most loyal supporters. You are involved and committed, and we like to honor you and greet you as often as possible. For additional information or with specific questions regarding the Dean's Council, please contact us.
