Pacific McGeorge Welcomes New Students
During the week of August 7th, Pacific McGeorge welcomed the entering classes of 2009 and 2010. At a series of cookouts and special orientation events, the new students met each other and members of the faculty.
The Day Class of 2009 includes 218 members, broken into three sections, while the Evening Class of 2010 has 98 members. Statistics for this year’s full-time 1Ls include a median LSAT score of 158 and undergraduate GPA of 3.42. While their LSAT scores match those of last year’s 1L class, that class boasted only a 3.23 average undergraduate GPA. The incoming class arrives from 27 states, as well as Japan and Canada, and 84 different colleges and universities. The most frequently cited undergraduate schools include UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, Brigham Young University, and University of the Pacific.
Pacific McGeorge’s overall J.D. enrollment stands at 1,043 with another 23 students enrolled in two LL.M. programs, Transnational Business Practice and Government and Public Policy.
