Checklist for LLM Students
Application Procedures
- Submit application (application fee waived)
- Signature page
- Curriculum vitae
- Official transcript from previous or current law school*
- Evidence of law degree (or its anticipated receipt before start of the program)*
- Four passport photos
- Two letters of recommendations
- Personal statement
- For non- native English speakers, proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS, degree from an English language institution, or multi-year employment in a position in which English is the primary language of communication)
After Acceptance
- Make an appointment with the American Consulate (If a visa is required)
- Pay deposit within a month of receiving the acceptance letter.
- Send on-campus housing request as soon as possible, if on-campus housing is desired.
- Once travel to Sacramento are confirmed, send your travel information to the International Programs
- Keep admissions advised of any address changes
- For non-U.S. citizens, don’t forget to have your valid current Passport with American visa, your Form I-20 (provided by the International Office upon receipt of the deposit), your letter of acceptance from Pacific McGeorge while entering the U.S.
