Transfer Students Application

Procedures & Requirements

You may be accepted with advanced standing to Pacific McGeorge School of Law after having completed one or more years at another accredited law school. Pacific McGeorge allows you to transfer credits in courses with satisfactory grades, and accepts all credits up to the number required to complete the School of Law's first-year full-time program. You must furnish the following to the Admissions Office:

1. Official Law School Transcript
This document must contain grades for the full academic year currently being completed.

2. Certification of Good Standing
Obtainable from your current law school, this document contains your academic results for the year currently being completed and includes certification of your class standing.

3. Undergraduate Transcript
This document is available from your undergraduate degree-granting institution.

4. Application Form
You must complete and submit an application form. 6. LSDAS/LSAT Report
As an applicant to Pacific McGeorge, you must submit a copy of your LSDAS report, including your LSAT score. This report is usually available from your law school registrar.

Notification of Acceptance:
Because application decisions are based on a transcript and certification of good standing containing information about the academic year just completed, Pacific McGeorge usually notifies transfer students of their acceptance in mid-July.


A nonrefundable application fee of $50, must be submitted with your application if you do not have a fee waiver. Use the above link to waive your application fee.
