Graduate Legal Scholars
Graduate Legal Scholars undertake a full-time internship placement within various state agencies and receive 9 units of academic credit for the year-long internship. Scholars receive a full tuition waiver, and an annual stipend in the amount of $17,500, payable in monthly installments. (Due to the state budget deficit, Graduate Legal Scholar positions are currently not available.)

Education Law Fellows
The Education Law Fellow will report directly to the Director of the Capital Center for Government Law and Policy, University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Fellows receive a full tuition waiver for an LL.M. or equivalent degree, with an education law specialization, representing 24 credit hours for study extending over not more than two years. Fellows receive a salary in the amount of $17,500, payable in monthly installments for a 30-hour per week position with benefits.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of a written application and interviews of final candidates. The timetable is as follows:
