Related Activities

Criminal Justice Concentration students have the opportunity to participate in all of the criminal justice activities on campus. Activities in recent years have included lectures by nationally recognized speakers such as Professors Stephen Schulhofer and Albert Alschuler of the University of Chicago Law School, and Professor Owen Fiss of Yale Law School.

Presentations about careers in prosecution and defense from practicing attorneys, and programs by the student-run Criminal Law Forum. The Criminal Law Forum sponsors lunchtime career discussions and more formal programs such as "Plea-Bargaining Strategies" and "The Death Penalty–A Timely Process?" Students may also have the chance to work as a research assistant with a professor in the criminal justice field.
