Professor Salcido, an Order of the Coif graduate of the University of California, Davis, joined the Pacific McGeorge faculty in 2003 after three years of private practice in San Francisco. She was a litigation associate in the Environment, Land Use and Natural Resources group of Pillsbury Winthrop (formerly Pillsbury Madison & Sutro). As a law student at U.C. Davis, Professor Salcido was involved in the immigration law clinic, and she continued assisting asylum applicants on a pro bono basis while practicing at Pillsbury Winthrop. Professor Salcido’s scholarly interests focus on Environmental Law, particularly pollution control and sustainability.
