Business and Tax Law - Course 951
Students will perform on-site legal work as externs under the supervision of field placement supervisors in government agencies or non-profit entities which specialize in business law, including agencies which collect state or federal taxes. Students may also choose to staff a pro bono legal assistance program which provides legal assistance to low income taxpayers who have cases pending before the California Board of Equalization. Placement site and practice descriptions are set forth in the Directory of Field Placements, which is available on the internet at the Pacific McGeorge website or in the Field Placement Program office. The Field Placement Director will help students find an appropriate placement, and must approve each student's registration. (P/F)
