February 20, 2008The World Affairs Council invites you to attend an evening with United Nations Foundation Senior Advisor Gillian Sorensen. A national advocate on matters related to the UN and the United States/UN relationship, Sorensen will speak about the UN’s role in enforcing law in the international community. Prior to joining the UN Foundation in 2003, she served as Assistant Secretary General for External Relations, as well as Special Advisor for Public Policy for the UN. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a Fellow at the University of Southern California Center on Public Diplomacy. Please join us for an evening of international importance from 5-6 p.m. in Classroom G. Reception to follow at the McGeorge House.
