Lisa DeSanctis, Esq.
Career Advisor Lisa D. is a 1996 graduate of U.C. Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law. She has practiced law in government, non-profit, and private practice settings and can help you assess what type of work environment is right for you. Lisa began her legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in Ventura County, where she specialized in prosecuting domestic violence and securities fraud. While still a law student, Lisa drafted and successfully lobbied the enactment of California's Evidence Code Section 1109. She left the DA's office to become an Associate Professor of Clinical Law and the Director of the Domestic Violence Litigation Clinic at George Washington University Law School, where she taught for three years. Before joining Pacific McGeorge, Lisa practiced in the litigation department of Pillsbury Winthrop LLP. Lisa does drop-in advising in the Student Center so be sure to stop by with your questions.
