Scholarships
Most scholarships are awarded to students based upon special criteria which recognizes scholastic achievement, school activities, public service, and/or financial need. Some scholarships are awarded to students without having to file an application; others require an application. The Pacific McGeorge awards merit scholarships to selected students entering their first year of study, based on their pre-law school academic achievement and demonstrated potential for success in legal studies.
Many alums and friends of Pacific McGeorge Law have provided charitable gifts that have built the following endowed scholarships. Scholarship gifts offer income tax deductions and other possible tax benefits to the donor, and provide crucial support to current and future students at Pacific McGeorge. Many alumni donors recall how a scholarship helped them survive their law school experience and many have chosen to pass that benefit along by providing scholarships themselves! For more information on becoming a donor or endowing a scholarship, contact
Charlene Mattison, Director of Advancement, or call 916.739.7300. Some of the scholarships and awards are automatic and do not require an application or establishment of need. An example of such a scholarship is the Academic Achievement Scholarship.
