The Pacific McGeorge Center for Global Business and Development pursues educational, scholarly and practical initiatives addressing the interface between the global economy and the legal profession. For over a quarter of a century, a distinctive feature of Pacific McGeorge's international law program has been its focus on transnational business practice (including both transactional and litigation practice). The Center builds upon this tradition by facilitating scholarship, curricular innovation and real-world projects to help current practitioners and policy makers, as well as future attorneys, to address the issues raised by the global economy. Simply put, the predominant players in the economy are increasingly multinational enterprises and entrepreneurs whose operations transcend national boundaries.
