Strategic Marketing and Communications

What We Do:

SMAC implements programs addressing the law school’s highest priority marketing and communications objectives using a variety of tools: the law school’s website, print and electronic publications, branded materials supporting the law school’s reputation, outreach to local, regional and national media regarding story/coverage opportunities for ‘earned media,’ as well as advertising/underwriting.

The creativity and dynamism so evident on our campus means that SMAC has many more opportunities to support campus successes, (and events, programs, projects and priorities) than we have the bandwidth to address. We will always do the best we can to accommodate your needs and can be especially helpful with good advance notice (90 days is usually good, but more helps). Yet for projects demanding a turnaround faster than we can meet, or that must occur at a time when we are focusing on other resource-intensive projects, we will do our best to refer you to competent, reliable off-campus resources.

SMAC’s “Manifesto”

SMAC plays a central role in expressing the vitality and excellence of Pacific McGeorge's programs, facilities, reputation and external support, through:

  • Cultivating and engaging students, alumni, faculty, the legal community and other constituent communities;
  • Facilitating outreach and achievement by the Alumni Association, its Board of Directors and Regional Chapters; and,
  • Communicating the law school's purpose, values and priorities via compelling print and electronic initiatives, media relations/cultivation, special events, and other communications efforts.
