Professor Paskey joins the Pacific McGeorge faculty in 2007 after serving for 12 years as an attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice.  As a trial attorney in the DOJ's Office of Special Investigations from 1998 to 2007, he litigated civil denaturalization and deportation cases against U.S. residents who assisted in Nazi persecution during World War II, and investigated naturalized U.S. citizens who participated in genocide, torture, and other serious human rights abuses committed overseas. Professor Paskey also served as a trial attorney with the former Immigration and Naturalization Service, and as a clerk to the Honorable Arrie W. Davis on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.  He is an honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, where he attended school part-time while working full-time in computer graphics.
