Degree Requirements
LL.M. degree candidates must successfully complete all required and elective courses in Salzburg (11 to 12 units) and Sacramento (12 to 13 units) with a passing grade such that the total units achieved are not less than 24 semester units with a cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.67 (on a 4.33 scale). Any candidate completing the program with a cumulative average of less than 2.67 will not be eligible for the LL.M. degree.
Whenever the faculty of either the University of Salzburg or the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law, in its opinion, determines that a student's continuance in a Graduate International Program would not be in the law school's best interests, or that he or she is not a person of character or integrity as to be qualified for the Master's Degree, it may terminate the student's enrollment or refuse to award the Degree. Students enrolled in the Graduate International Programs are subject to the Code of Student Responsibility published in the Pacific McGeorge Student Handbook and are expected to conduct all aspects of their participation in a graduate program in accord with the highest standards.
Students may substitute another elective course, including a directed research project, for one of the electives listed with prior approval. Credit will not be awarded for any course which substantially duplicates a course previously completed for credit at this or another institution.
