A Welcome from the Deans

Dear Students and Colleagues,

On behalf of our Universities and Law Faculties, we are pleased to welcome you to our unique collaborative LL.M. program, the first program of its kind in the world. We believe that learning the advantages of an advanced degree in international business law will convince you to enroll in this new program, which enrolled its first students in the Fall of 2003.

This program adds a rich new dimension to the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law's existing LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice. It offers students from Europe, the United States, and the rest of the world the opportunity to study a semester each in Europe and the United States and to delve deeply into all aspects of cross-border business transactions and dispute resolution from both the U.S. common law approach and the European civil law approach.

In an increasingly inter-dependent legal and business world, we believe that this cutting edge collaboration will be the model of advance legal education in this century and we are pleased to be able to offer you this unique opportunity.

Thank you for your interest in our program and we look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Rindskopf Parker, Dean
