Courses
While studying in Salzburg, students are required to take three of four courses from Compulsory Courses I (European Law Cluster) and three of four courses from Compulsory Courses II (Business Law Cluster). Each course is typically worth two units of credit.

Students may substitute another elective course, including a directed research project, for one of the electives listed with prior approval. Credit will not be awarded for any course which substantially duplicates a course previously completed for credit at this or another institution.
Students enrolled in the LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice in collaboration with the University of Salzburg may also select the internship option for the spring semester in lieu of taking classes on the Sacramento campus for the full semester.
