Important information for evening students considering competition teams and law journal
Dear Evening Students:
Our faculty and administration hope that you will participate in law journals and competition teams, but realize that joining these activities may cause you to enroll in and pay for more than the 10 units per semester covered by your basic tuition cost. For this reason, Evening students whose semester units exceed 10 as a direct result of their enrollment in a law journal or competition team may apply for, and upon approval, receive a scholarship for the portion of the units that exceeds 10. In the interest of fairness, we must limit this scholarship to a total of three units for each student during their matriculation here at McGeorge.
In order to apply for this scholarship, you must contact Kris Scivoletto in the Registrar’s Office at (916) 739-7106 or by e-mail at kscivoletto@pacific.edu. The deadline for application is the end of the ninth week of the semester in which the scholarship would apply. Once the scholarship has been approved, the student may not make any adjustments to his or her course schedule that impacts the number of units taken for the semester in question, or the scholarship will be revoked.
