ABA Client Counseling Competition
The Competition
This ABA-sponsored competition promotes knowledge of and interest in the preventive law and counseling functions of law practice. Students use the interviewing, planning and analytical skills attorneys use, practicing in Pacific McGeorge's mock law office settings.
Pacific McGeorge holds its intra-school competition in January, targeting students with clinical experience and client interviewing and counseling experience, gained through participation in the Pacific McGeorge Clinical program and extensive skills courses. Regional competition takes place in February, and the national competition is held in March.
