The Competition
Three-member teams compete against other law schools' best in Regional and National Appellate Advocacy matches. The selection process is highly competitive, with both brief writing and oral advocacy skills playing a part. Students write professional appellate briefs and compete
regularly in oral matches. During the competition they appear
before judges and experience courtroom advocacy firsthand.
