Pacific McGeorge is a lively place, with distinguished speakers in a variety of exciting areas coming to campus throughout the year. Past speakers include experts in criminal law and procedure, terrorism and national security, and civil rights law.

Two of the continuing series presented each year are the Archie Hefner Memorial Lecture Series and the Distinguished Speakers Series.

The Archie Hefner Memorial Lecture Series
Funded from proceeds of the Archie Hefner Memorial Fund, the Archie Hefner Memorial Lecture Series is designed to advance legal education through dynamic and informative programs on a variety of law related topics.

Victims of Crime Resource Center
Founded in 1984, the state-funded California Victims of Crime Resource Center at Pacific McGeorge School of Law provides crime victims with legal reassurance and aid. Through the Resource Center's toll-free number, 1-800-VICTIMS, and thrugh their website, www.1800victims.org, crime victims can obtain information from law students concerning compensation, restitution, their roles and rights in the criminal justice system, and referrals to local assistance providers and advocacy groups.
