The Anthony M. Kennedy fellows will travel to Washington, D.C. on February 28, 2005 to hear oral argument before the Supreme Court of the United States. The group will meet with Associate Justice Kennedy in his chambers.
The Kennedy Fellow Program honors Justice Kennedy's dedication to legal education and long-term service as a faculty member at Pacific McGeorge. Justice Kennedy taught Constitutional Law at the law school's Sacramento campus as an adjunct professor from 1965-1988. Appointed to the Supreme Court of the United States by President Reagan in 1988, he continues to teach in Pacific McGeorge's Salzburg Institute each summer in Austria. Kennedy Fellows, who are selected based on undergraduate academic merit, receive a full-tuition scholarship and all required course books.
