"The Extraterritorial Prosecution of White Collar Crime: Are There Any Limits"
Professor Podgor, a member of the Georgia State University College of Law faculty, is a leading legal scholar in the high-profile field of white collar crime. Professor Podgor is the co-author of White Collar Crime: Law and Practice, White Collar Crime in a Nutshell, and International Criminal Law: Cases and Materials. Her articles have appeared in law journals at Notre Dame, Fordham, American University and UC Davis, among others. Her op-ed pieces on issues such as the Catholic Church and Iraqi prisoner abuse scandals have appeared in major newspapers. Professor Podgor is a frequent lecturer and panel member at symposia on federal jurisdiction, cybercrime, anti-terrorism laws, post 9/11 attorney-client privilege and numerous other topics drawn from today’s news headlines. Professor Podgor began her academic career at Temple University School of
Law. She taught at St. Thomas School of Law for two years before moving to Georgia State in 1991. She has been a visiting law professor at the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia. She also spent a semester at the Yale Law School as a visiting scholar. A magna cum laude B.S. graduate of Syracuse University, Professor Podgor
received her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. She also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and an LL.M. from Temple University.
