PLSS Auction Features Fine Food, Prizes

The 15th Annual Pacific McGeorge Public Legal Services Society Live and Silent Auction will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, March 2 in the student center. The auction raises money to support students who volunteer for public interest employers over the summer and to assist graduates who have accepted public interest jobs. Last year, PLSS raised $47,000 to assist students who are serving the underprivileged. Professor Emeritus Claude Rohwer and former CDO director Ruthe Ashley will be our emcees, and Aioli Bodega Espanola will cater the event. Items up for bid will include tickets to Sacramento Kings and San Francisco Giants games, a week-long stay in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, wine-tasting tours, golfing, massages, a helicopter tour, and more. The event is open to tall supporters of Pacific McGeorge. Ticket prices are $25 for students, $40 for alumni and faculty, or two tickets for $70. The price includes heavy appetizers and a main dish provided by Aoli, two drink tickets, and five raffle tickets.
