North Korea: Nuclear Threat and East Asia Inter-Regional Issues

A panel headed by San-ki Chung, the Republic of Korea’s Consul-General in San Francisco, will explore the implications of recent events on the Korean Peninsula at 5 p.m., Thursday, November 16, at Pacific McGeorge’s Center for Global Business and Development. Chung was the first Korean diplomat sent to China in 1990 and he was part of the official Korean delegation at the historic Inter-Korea Summit in June 2000 in North Korea. Chung’s appearance is sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Sacramento and is free and open to the public.
