Kurdish Official To Speak

Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, High Representative to the United Kingdom for the Kurdish regional Government of Iraq, will speak at 5 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, upstairs in the Global Center building. Bayan, a London University graduate who previously worked as a journalist for the Financial Times, is the chairman of the Kurdistan Development Corporation, a joint initiative of the Kurdistan government and international investors. Her appearance is sponsored by the Sacramento chapter of the World Affairs Council and is open to the public.
