Two Experts Will Debate Proposition 82

Pacific McGeorge Law School will host a debate on Rob Reiner’s preschool measure on Wednesday, April 12. “The Preschool for All Act,” which will appear on the statewide ballot June 6 as Proposition 82, would provide every 4-year-old in California the opportunity to attend a half-day preschool program for free. Katrina Mendiola, State Advocacy Coordinator for NCLR (National Council of La Raza), will tangle with Lisa Snell, director of education and child welfare at Reason Foundation, a nonprofit think tank. The debate is scheduled for 5 p.m. in Classroom B.
