January 6, 2006 Washington, DC Pacific McGeorge School of Law invites you to the Annual International Law Breakfast that will be held in the Hoover Room on the Mezzanine Level of the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Washington, DC on January 6, 2006 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the AALS annual meeting. It is an early hour, but we look forward to good conversation among academics friends with a mutual interest in the teaching and practice of international law. In addition to camaraderie, you can expect:
- Another video short that will help focus;
- A discussion of the latest activities of our Center for Global Business and Development, which is now in its second full year of operation.
- An invitation to join us in our new Globalized Curriculum Series, which includes a plan for annual workshops on “globalizing” the core curriculum, the Global Issues Series―a Thompson-West publication project under the General Editorship of our own Professor Franklin A. Gevurtz―and a long-range plan to establish an international consortium of law schools to address global business and development; and,
- An opportunity to catch up on the activities of your colleagues around the breakfast table and around the globe.
