CalPERS CEO Speaks at Pacific McGeorge

On Thursday, November 4, Fred Buenrostro, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of CalPERS will speak on CalPERS’ Perspective on Global Market Investing. CalPERS is the largest public pension fund with over $172 billion in assets, covering 1.4 million people.

Buenrostro will speak at a dinner meeting (7:30 p.m.) between meetings of the International Board of Advisors to McGeorge School of Law on Thursday, and the International Economic Symposium on Financial Services, hosted by McGeorge’s Global Studies Program on Friday. More than 65 guests will attend, coming to Sacramento from around the world for this week’s meetings.

University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law celebrates the creation of its Center for Global Business and Development this week. Michael P. Malloy is director of the Center.
