Career Development
The Career Development Office (CDO) offers a variety of services to assist all Pacific McGeorge students, including LLM students in planning their future careers and creating job-search strategies. CDO maintains an online job bank showing current job openings for both part-time and permanent employment. Career advisors are happy to schedule individual meetings with students to discuss resources to research employers and to help develop effective resumes and cover letters. CDO also offers periodic panel discussions and workshops, including some exclusively for LLM students, on various topics related to finding jobs and developing career plans. Pacific McGeorge also participates in the International Law Students Job Fair held at New York University in January, at which law firms from around the world interview and hire international LLM students for positions with their firms.
