New evening access policy In order to provide a more secure environment during evening hours, the Library has instituted a card swipe access system after 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and after 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday. During these times, students, faculty and staff need to swipe their Pacific McGeorge ID cards in order to gain access to the Library building. The new card swipe access policy became effective on Monday, Jan. 16.
New Online Study Room Reservation System The Library would like to announce a convenient new way for students to reserve study rooms online beginning Monday, Jan. 9. Students can reserve up to four 30-minute blocks per day up to two weeks in advance. There are no longer any group requirements or preferences in reservations. The online reservation system is accessible from the Library website and the GoCat online catalog. Students will need to use their "@u.pacific.edu" email address for authentication when reserving rooms. Keys must be picked up from the circulation desk at the beginning of the time slot.
