Institute for Sustainable Development
Despite the progress made to date in increasing awareness of sustainable development goals and principles, much work remains to be done. Lawyers have a critical role to play in helping nations, regions and municipalities implement sustainable development goals and principles.
The Institute for Sustainable Development has for its mission research, education and participation in efforts to build a strong legal environmental framework world wide. Current Institute faculty members are particularly interested in water resources and public policy collaboration. Institute activities include conference hosting, an advanced law degree in international water law, and publications.
