Institute for Global Business
In a global economy, attorneys must think globally. The Institute for Global Business addresses the need to prepare attorneys for practice in the global economy. The Institute designs innovative curricula, the goals of which encompass both ensuring that all law school graduates are familiar with the international issues they may expect to encounter in an era of increasing globalization, as well as providing distinctive programs for J.D. and LL.M. students seeking to specialize in transnational practice. The Institute sponsors an array of research activities exploring the intersections of law and global business, including holding regular conferences and symposia, as well as working with the impressive scholars on the Pacific McGeorge faculty whose writings explore the relationships between law and global business. The efforts of the Institute for Global Business are part of reasons why the international law program at Pacific McGeorge is ranked among the top international law programs in the United States.
