Summary Bio

Vida L. Thomas, ESQ. is a founding partner of Carlsen Thomas, LLP, and has practiced labor and employment law since 1993. She has defended public and private employers in employment litigation involving discrimination, breach of employment contracts and sexual harassment. In addition, Ms. Thomas has extensive experience investigating complaints of employee wrongdoing. Ms. Thomas also provides limited legal consultations to employees. A prolific speaker, Ms. Thomas has conducted dozens of seminars on a host of employment law topics, including employee hiring and discipline, coordinating federal and California leave laws, employee privacy and conducting effective sexual harassment investigations. She also conducts sexual harassment prevention training for supervisors in compliance with AB 1825.
