Bio

Tamarra Rennick, Associate General Counsel, leads the Special Projects Unit for the Corporate Law Department of State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in Bloomington, IL. This unit has focus on investigative issues, litigation arising out of those investigations and State Farm Mutual' s relationship with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Tamarra worked as an associate with the law firm of Adams, Duque & Hazeltine in 1991 and became a partner at the Los Angeles law firm of Bannan, Green, Smith & Frank in 1995. She moved to Portland, Maine in 1995 and joined UNUM Life Insurance Company of America as a litigation counsel handling bad faith litigation.

Tamarra joined State Farm in 1999 as a counsel in the Corporate Law department managing litigation in Alabama. From 2006-2009, she focused on Hurricane Katrina investigative issues in Mississippi. She moved to her current position in March 2013.

Tamarra received her B.S. Economics at the University of Illinois in 1988 and her J.D., with distinction, from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1991.

Tamarra is a member of the State Bars of California and Illinois.
