Center Scholarship Information

McGeorge Scholarship in Advocacy

The Pacific Scholarship in Advocacy is a renewable1 scholarship created to support students with a demonstrated interest in advocacy. Fellows are expected to enroll in the Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy. To apply please submit the following:2

  1. A one-page statement discussing your demonstrated interest and ongoing commitment to advocacy.
  2. A list of relevant jobs and activities with dates, hours worked and duties.

McGeorge Scholarship in International Law

The Pacific Scholarship in International Law is a renewable1 scholarship created to support students with a demonstrated interest in international law. Fellows are expected to enroll in the International Certificate of Concentration. To apply please submit the following:2

  1. A one page statement discussing your demonstrated interest and ongoing commitment to international law.
  2. A list of relevant jobs and activities with dates, hours worked and duties.

McGeorge Scholarship in Law and Policy

The Pacific Scholarship in Law and Policy is a renewable1 scholarship created to support students committed to careers in government, policy or other public sector work. Fellows are expected to enroll in the Capital Lawyering Certificate of Concentration. To apply please submit the following:2

  1. A one page statement discussing your demonstrated interest and ongoing commitment to law and policy.
  2. A list of relevant jobs and activities with dates, hours worked and duties.

McGeorge Public Service Scholarships

The Public Service Scholarships are renewable scholarships created to support students who demonstrate continued commitment to public service and have financial need. Financial need will be determined based on information provided on the FAFSA. To apply please submit the following:2

  1. A one page statement to discussing your demonstrated public service record and ongoing commitment to public service/public interest.
  2. A list of relevant jobs and activities with dates, hours worked and duties.

Center and Public Service Scholarship Renewal Requirements: Scholarship awards are renewable at the same level for each following year of study provided the recipient remains in good academic standing and successfully enrolls and fulfills the requirements of the certificate program. Scholarships and grants, when combined cannot exceed the banded rate of tuition.
Submission of Application Materials: All application materials should be submitted in pdf format to mcgeorge@pacific.edu. Please make sure all documents contain your full name, LSAC account number and the scholarship you are applying for. Applicants who are selected as scholarship recipients will be notified by the Admissions Office via email.
