Student Life

Life at McGeorge reaches beyond the classroom. While the rigorous academic programs are the main focus, the tight-knit community of students, faculty staff, and alumni support a rich social experience that will round out your legal education. The law school places a high priority on campus safety, quality food, secure housing and the activities of our student organizations.

The McGeorge Office of Student Affairs provides customized support for our students. Students come to McGeorge from across the United States and abroad, representing a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and contributing to a diverse community of people. Student housing is available right on campus, as well as a recreation center, basketball hoops, and a pool!

The McGeorge community offers a variety of clubs and activities sponsored by the Student Bar Association, an elected body whose goal is to make law school as much fun as possible. You can choose from legal specialty, ethnic and hobby clubs; everything from the Entertainment Law Society to the Asian/Pacific American Law Students Association to the McGeorge Rugby team.

The factors that make Sacramento a great place to live also make it an ideal location for well-rounded legal education. Close ties between McGeorge and California's Capital City mean that students find ample opportunities for both learning and working here.
