Requirements & Curriculum
The variety of the curriculum at Pacific McGeorge — core requirements, electives, and experiential — gives you an opportunity to sample many areas of law and infuse you with critical lawyering skills.
The core curriculum's rigor will prepare you to take the bar exam and for the writing and research that will be required in your future legal practice. Elective courses allow you to explore specialized areas, and you may choose to add a concentration or certificate to your J.D. program to thoroughly explore a practice area and gain expertise. The Experiential curriculum prepares you for legal practice through hands-on active learning where you are placed in the role of an attorney under careful supervision in one of our pioneering legal clinics or intensive field placements.
