Summer Program in Salzburg Tuition, Fees and Policies

Tuition

  • $975 per unit — due on first day of program, July 6, 2014

Students may enroll for two (2), three (3) or four (4) semester units of credit.

Student Program Fee

  • $300 — due May 1, 2014

This fee includes course materials, receptions and closing dinner, and excursions to legal institutions.

Housing Fee

The housing fee is based on the type of housing assigned to you. We will do our best to honor your first or second choice but housing assignments are subject to space availability. We will assign housing based on the order that applications, accompanied by deposit, are received in our office. Housing fees are due May 1, 2014.

  • Single Room with Private Shower — estimated at $1,350
  • Shared Double Room with Private Shower — estimated at $1,100 per person
  • Single Room w/o Private Shower (showers available on the floor) — estimated at $850

Note: Estimated housing costs are based on 2013 costs. Actual costs for 2014 are still to be determined and may vary from 2013 costs based on market factors and number of participants in the program.

The housing fee for all room options includes breakfast buffet, change of towels twice weekly, change of bed linens weekly, and cable internet access with deposit (Wifi in reception areas but not in the rooms). Washing machines, shared kitchen facilities (in the primary residence building), TV rooms, and a small fitness room are available for student use.

Housing will be available for occupancy beginning Saturday, July 5, 2014 with departure set for Sunday, July 27, 2014.

Accompanying Person

  • $1,300 — due May 1, 2014

Non-students may accompany persons enrolled in the program on a space-available basis. The accompanying person fee includes shared lodging, breakfast, dinner and receptions, and program-related social activities. Accompanying persons may not attend classes, but may attend tours or excursions to legal institutions on a space available basis.

The cost of airfare, meal costs other than the organized events and dinner, and personal expenses are not included. A daily budget of $65 is estimated to be sufficient to cover student expenses in Salzburg not covered by the program fee.
