Here is a breakdown of the costs associated with the Summer Program in Salzburg. The cost of airfare, meals (other than the organized events and dinner), and personal expenses are not included. A budget of $40 to $50 per day is estimated to be sufficient to cover additional expenses not included with the program fee. The suggested daily budget does not include any additional travel or excursions you may take during your time in Salzburg.
Students must enroll in at least two (2) units and may take as many as four (4) units.
This fee includes course materials, opening and closing dinners, and excursions to legal institutions.
All students must stay in the Thomas Michels Guest House, the student dorms arranged through the program. The rooms are all single rooms with a private shower. Additional amenities are listed below. Please note that breakfast is included with the housing fee, but due to some renovations, the Thomas Michels dorm does not have the facilities to serve breakfast on site. Breakfast will be available at nearby Institute St. Sebastian (approximately a three-minute walk from the dorm, and on the way to the University. The University is approximately a 15-minute walk from the dorms).
